Pet Portrait Commissions
A portrait of a much-loved pet should capture more than appearance — it should capture character. I work from your photographs to create expressive, individual portraits, with particular attention to the eyes, expression and personality of your pet.
Watercolour Pet Portraits
Loose, expressive and full of light, watercolour portraits have a fresh, contemporary feel, with expressive colour and areas of white paper.
Pastel Pet Portraits
Pastel allows for greater detail, depth and softness, making it particularly suited to fur, subtle colouring and expressive eyes.
Prices start from £100 for an 8 × 10 inch portrait of a single pet. Please contact me for other sizes, multiple pets or more complex compositions.
I work from clear photographs, ideally taken in natural light and at eye level. If you are unsure which photograph would work best, you are welcome to send me a selection and I can help you choose.
Human Portrait Commissions
I create human portraits in pastel, a medium I love for its richness, softness and ability to capture subtle skin tones and expression. My aim is to capture not only a likeness, but something of the character and personality of the person.
Prices start from £125 for a 10 × 12 inch portrait of one person. Please contact me for two or more people, larger or unusual sizes, or more complex compositions.
Clear, well-lit reference photographs are essential. Natural light and an unfiltered image usually give the best results. If you are unsure which photograph to use, you are welcome to send me a selection and I can help you choose.
